The color changes depending on which direction you look through it.

Tourmaline is strongly dichroic — the absorption of light differs along different crystallographic axes. This stone reads clear to pale green face-up. Rotate it 90° and the green axis saturates, reading as a vivid yellow-green. In a pendant it catches the light differently every time it moves, shifting between the two color expressions as it hangs.

At 24.5mm long and AR 7.7 it wears as a vertical drop or horizontal T Bar. The dichroism is the story — photograph it in both orientations and multiple lighting conditions to capture both color expressions. No heat treatment. Eye clean. Pendant only — chain sold separately.
