GIA Laboratory Report — Optional Add-On

A GIA report is the global standard for independent gemstone verification. If you want third-party documentation of your stone's identity, treatment status, and origin characteristics beyond what Bravais provides, this is how to get it.

What a GIA Colored Stone Report covers:

• Species and variety (confirmed independently)
• Carat weight and measurements
• Color grade
• Clarity grade
• Treatment detection — including heat treatment, fracture filling, and irradiation

What it does not replace: The geological narrative, the materials science context, and the treatment transparency documentation that comes with every Bravais piece. GIA confirms what the stone is. Bravais tells you what it means.

How it works:

1. Purchase this listing alongside or after your ring purchase
2. Contact us to coordinate — we ship the stone to GIA on your behalf (ring must be unset, or we coordinate the process)
3. GIA processes the report (4–8 weeks typical turnaround)
4. Report delivered digitally and mailed to you directly

Important notes:

• Priced at Bravais cost — this is GIA's fee passed through at no markup
• One listing purchase = one stone report
• For the Sisters Not Twins bundle, purchase twice if you want both stones certified
• Unheated Montana sapphires rarely receive treatment notations — the report will confirm what we already disclose
