Three shades of teal. One Afghan pegmatite. All different.
These are press-fit (threadless) flat back studs — the disc sits flush against the skin, no protruding post, designed for all-day and sleep wear. Suitable for lobe, helix, conch, tragus, and cartilage. Each stone is a different expression of the same mineral: tourmaline from Afghanistan, colored by iron and titanium in varying ratios, cut into a compact emerald form and bezel-set to protect the perimeter.
Three stone options, each a distinct color. Select your stone, metal, and post length. Sold as a single earring — order two for a pair. Because each stone is one of one, a pair will share the same color character but won't be a perfect match. Sisters, not twins.
On the indicolite (#130): Indicolite is the blue-green variety of tourmaline — its color comes from iron and titanium substituting into the crystal structure in a ratio that shifts the hue toward blue. This stone reads as a deep lagoon: blue-green that darkens toward teal. It is the most saturated stone in this group and the most unusual.
